Visual Media Explorer™ Introduction

Visual Media Explorer™ contains all the tools you need for creating, editing, printing, and retouching your digital images and videos. Using a friendly and familiar Windows Explorer® type Interface.

The "Browser" will help you locate, view, and organize your digital images by displaying each file with a thumbnail view. Tools are included to view, edit, crop, slideshow, or with third-party tools such as Adobe PhotoShop® or PaintShop Pro®. Add custom applications like your favorite HTML authoring application.

Selecting files and folders works exactly like Windows Explorer. Most operations, menus, short-cuts, multi-select work in a similar way. Files can be easily moved, copied, re-named, or deleted. You can right-click on either the Image Thumbnail, or the Folders which will produce a pop-up menu for more options such as emailing your images.

Powerful tools such as Searching for Image Metadata through a powerful query-based approach to image selection, which automatically includes freshly added images in a selection whenever they meet the query criteria. Included support for EXIF files in JPEG or TIFF. EXIF files are tags stored of Digital Camera Setting and GPS information. DICOM Medial Image information is also supported.

Batch processing is another powerful tool included with Visual Media Explorer™. A "batch" is a group of files, and batch processing performs a set of operations on each file in the batch. A collection of images can be converted from one file type to another, can be rotated, compressed, resized, change brightness and contrast, and many more functions.
